Tap the + plus button in an open chat, then select the calendar icon and select Create Event (or Create new event). Fill out the details on the form.

Select the group or contact’s avatar and then select Calendar.
Select the + plus button at the bottom right of the screen to create a new event. Fill out the details on the form.
Only the event creator can edit the event’s details, such as the start and end times, location or reminders for the event.
